Im trying to finance a new bike. yes new. Id rather not get a used bike. for various reasons. but it seems that no one will finance over 48 months.

Well it looks like the sks will no longer be a part of my gun collection. I traded it in on a ak-47. if I would have done this a few years ago. it would have been an even trade. I still owe 300 bucks on the thing. The reason for the trading in of the sks is I never used it. I barely put anyrounds through it. it just sat in my closet in a case. If I have some extra cash after I pay off a few things and they havent sold it then Ill probably buy it back. But I realise how popular these are and that I probably wont see it again. I knew that when I traded it in.
Enough gun stuff. I have also had my car tuned recently and took it to the track. I had a local guy program a conservative stage 2 tune with a 2 step launch control. so far the best time for the 1/8th mile track is a 9.4. with a little more practice I should be able to see 8s.

So I had a camera. a casio exilim. it was good for what it was. took clear pictures. well living in FL isnt that great on cameras. Not even a year and a half after I bought it. It was having issues. start up problems at first. then a few weeks ago. the lense wouldnt extend and lens error popped across the lcd screen. Nothing fixed it.
Well with my deployment coming up. last one with the helos I used to work on. I was in need of a camera. So I went shopping went to best buy, circuit city, and a few other places. I finally wound up at the sony store at an outlet mall in destin FL.
Needless to say I left with a 500 dollar camera for 175 bucks and another 175 in accessories. With a 2 year drop protection plan.
screw you casio.
Why so cheap. ok. It was 209.99. with an additional 15% off. after a memorystick, case, 2 year protection. it came out to 380somethin. Reason why is when sony comes out with new stuff the older models. have to be sold as refurbished even when they are new in box.
Its a high def(1080) 8 megapixel camera with zeiss optics. I can take a picture of someone from 25 feet away and count the hairs hanging from their nostrils.
So needless to say I will be using it at cons and shows as well.

People to think that your quote unquote techniques at fuel economy work is laughable. Here we have a bunch of prius driving retards with no mechanical aptitude or any idea how a car works to begin with. Well here I am to issue the facts. I orginally made this a comment but decided to make this an entry as well.
If you really really really want to save gas I would start planning ahead.
an engine uses more fuel at idle (richer fuel trims) than in gear and slowing the car down.
Motor Trend July is my source.
reason why.
all obd2 vehicles use what call a decel cut/zero throttle cut.....it cuts fuel any time you let off the gas and the engine is above a certain rpm.
any of you that have a Wideband O2(this is an aftermarket modification that allows you to monitor your air/fuel mixture) know that cruising in gear uses Virtually No fuel.
@ idle/neutral,you car will use Stoich fuel trims(mine is around 14.7 parts are to 1 part fuel)
In fact most engines work more efficiently at higher rpms that at lower ones.
tailgating large trucks? No. way too unsafe. not to mention other cars. if your on my arse my brakes are getting applied slowly as a warning then hard when you do not back off.
shutting off car when coasting to a stoplight? No. You loose power to your accessories (despite what some try to tell you) not only that constantly shutting car off then cranking it back up isnt great on your battery and starter motor. you can drain a battery if you crank it up to often without fully recharging it. also hard on the cars ecu main computer cost anywhere from 800 to 5000 to replace depending on the vehicle.
Driving way under the speed limit? Really not a good idea as you actually cause others to use MORE gas not to mention your not gonna make any friends doing that. Plus most roads require you to maintain a minimum speed. And the fact you create a traffic hazard by blocking all the cars behind you can make it harder for ambulances to get by in emergencies.
Putting a resistor in the IAT to "Trick" trick the ecu into seeing a highertemp is definately bad, and in newer vehicles can actually hurt fuel economy, and under WOT can cause you to burn a hole in your piston.
Bogging down your engine is never good.
There are a few tricks that work for hypermiling but is your clutch, transmission, ecu, crankshaft or pistons worth the savings?
you saved 50 in gas... that piston you burnt a hole through. it cost 500 for a set. they do not sell them individually. think long and hard before you try any of the techniques your friends say work.
I loved this gem someone posted...
"Get used to it. (And other drivers are going to have to, too.) Like this person above, all kinds of 'hypermiling' tricks are being utilized by folks.
In my Civic Hybrid, optimum efficiency is in the 45-60 range, so I have a tendency to keep it around 60 on the interstate. It gets me occasional grief from others, but gas is too expensive for me to give a rat's a$$."
Fyi your not the only one on the highway get used to it. and you better start giving a rats a$$ before you get someone hurt or killed in an accident. money is not worth hurting someone or taking someones life ever.
the one technique that does work is keep moving and try to time red lights in your area. it has no negative affects on your car or you. just dont roll a red light or you have johnny law to worry about.
Static Friction is always higher than dynamic friction. It takes more energy to accelerate from 0mph to 2mph than it does to accelerate from 2-5mph....
There you have it. several techniques mentioned and only one is good and doesnt put the car, the driver, or anyone else at risk.
Goodnight,

So I was cruising the grocery store looking around and I happened upon a bottle that brought back some memories from my highschool days.
I am talking about MD 20/20. Needless to say I acquired said bottle and am currently waiting for the weekend to come. well see what happens.

Ive been contemplating getting into racing for a long time. I have so many hobbies its pathetic but needless to say Ive made some cuts and sold off some stuff. For my first year I will be volunteering as a marshal to get to know the ins and outs of the rally community. My second year I will buy some cheap used rally car. In the meantime I have been looking for a truck and trailer as well. Nothing expensive but can pull the car around.
I may be driving the little beast to any conventions or shows I attend. if I even feel like attending any of those anymore.

Ok for the past few weeks I have been trying to go to the local shooting range. Once we couldnt find the shooting range, then while driving around that same day it started raining, then another time it fell through cause no one wanted to go, then bad weather, then they needed me at work, then bad weather again Sure enough the weather for this weekend may screw up my plans... again. I paid $1500 for a sig 5.56 assault rifle I've only got to shoot once... So ticked right now.
Oh and people when your in a right turn lane and theres a running lane.... DONT SIT STOPPED IN FRONT OF PEOPLE! Grow some balls step on the gas pedal and move out of the way. Im in FL its Tourist season and quit honestly I wish we had a permit to shoot them. People from georgia and michigan are the dumbest piles of crap I have ever seen on the road... PERIOD.
